Mathieson signs with the BCHL’s Coquitlam Express as an affiliate player

The Port Moody Panthers announced today that forward and alternate captain Ryden Mathieson has signed as an affiliate player with the Coquitlam Express of the BC Hockey League.

Mathieson, a 2004-born left winger from Langley, is second in goals on the Panthers with eight. He is also second in scoring with 15 points in 19 games and second on the team in power play points with five.

The 18-year-old is currently on the 50-player protected list of the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League and represented the Pacific Junior Hockey League at last month’s inaugural BC Hockey Conference Prospects Game.
